As I mentioned in my previous post, I have not been too pleased with Firefox lately.  I tried the version 3 beta for windows xp not that long ago and I still was not that impressed, but I have just downloaded the beta version for the mac and I must say it looks quite good.

Finally Firefox looks like it belongs on the mac, the new theme looks good and fits the part within the Mac OS.

It also seems a little faster than the previous version which is great as the previous Mac version was pretty slow, making it’s brother, Camino the better choice.

I will take it for a spin and see how it goes but first impressions are definitely good ones. All my plugins no longer work which is a pain but as its still in beta it will probably take a while for plugin developers to get up to scratch, it will still be a little while left before it is an official release.
